QAA Scotland is delighted to announce that the 4th International Enhancement Conference is going online! In place of the original in-person event, we will now be hosting two online conferences in 2020.
The first of these, Learning from disruption: exploring what counts in higher education, focuses on the use of evidence during a period of disruption to identify the policies and practices which we need to shape future higher education design, delivery and the wider student experience. It will take place on 3 and 4 June 2020 and will feature a selection of live and recorded sessions alongside the launch of new digital resources. The event is designed to support delegates by identifying the values we share as we explore how higher education is likely to change, both as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic and to meet future challenges.
In Autumn 2020 we will offer an expanded online conference to include a celebration of the achievements from the current Enhancement Theme, Evidence for Enhancement: Improving the Student Experience. The event will showcase many of the innovative projects undertaken as part of the Theme, as well as highlighting contributions of research and practice from across the UK and internationally.
We are excited to offer two events that are relevant and forward-thinking, responding to this time of significant change for higher education by sharing knowledge, expertise and practical support. Both online conferences will feature a refreshing and versatile mix of live and pre-prepared content to allow engagement at a time which suits delegates.
We hope you’ll be able to join us. Further details will be announced soon, but in the meantime, please hold the dates: 3 and 4 June 2020. Autumn dates to follow.
