Sara Carter 

Sara Carter

Sara Carter OBE is Associate Deputy Principal (Education) of the University of Strathclyde, with responsibility for learning enhancement and the continual improvement of the academic experience for our students. Sara is Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde Business School, and formerly Head of Department of the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship (2008 – 2013). Sara is an Associate Director of the UK Enterprise Research Centre, an ESRC co-funded research initiative designed to improve the evidence base of enterprise policy, and  a Visiting Professor at the Nordland Research Institute, Norway. She has extensive teaching experience both in the UK and internationally.
