As a direct entrant at Edinburgh Napier University in 2013, I can relate to the struggle of students coming from diverse countries and colleges, and understand their academic needs. For this reason, I became campus officer, then vice-president of Edinburgh Napier Students Association (ENSA). I am now running to represent their voice as president of ENSA in the next academic year. I believe there is a major difference in learning and teaching between UK HE on the one hand, and what college students or international students are used to on the other hand. I am running to enable communication on this matter between the academic staff on one side, and the direct entrants on the other.
