Mapping and embedding learning strategies & employability literacy across the curriculum

Academic staff are key influencers and facilitators of effective student transition through the different stages of the learning and employability journey. In recent years, there has been increasing emphasis on embedding ‘literacies’ within the curriculum and shifting towards a practice–based approach. This approach has been embraced by the University of Stirling and we have embarked upon an ambitious and systematic programme of embedding learning strategies and employability initiatives within the curriculum. The aim is to create a more inclusive, timely and effective approach to learning and employability throughout the student life cycle.
