This publication includes 12 case studies (written by other authors) selected from a range of subject areas and institutions across the Scottish education sector. The intention was to share best practice across the sector and to give readers ideas that can be adapted for their own practice and context.

The case studies are categorised into three sections according to their primary focus within one of three areas: curriculum design; working in partnership; and work-related learning. These areas are considered key to developing employability strategies within course programmes and institutions. Each case study includes an abstract, the context and rationale of the project / initiative / practice, how it works in practice, how it has helped to progress employability and suggestions to others hoping to do something similar.
