Registration opens for Focus On: Feedback from Assessment event

| 15 Feb 2018

Join us for the Focus On: Feedback from Assessment event which will be held on 22 March 2018 at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow. This event is sure to be popular so register today to avoid disappointment.

Feedback from assessment continually appears as an area for development in review reports, referring specifically to timeliness of feedback, helping students to use feedback to understand grades, consistency of feedback across different subject areas and the overall quality of feedback. The Focus On: Feedback from Assessment project aims to support universities to improve assessment feedback by examining what students think about this and how the sector has progressed in this area over recent years.  The event will offer an opportunity to learn about this work in more detail, hear from an inspiring range of speakers and explore the following topics:

  • institutional approaches to improving feedback
  • working in partnership with students to improve feedback
  • using technology for assessment feedback
  • aligning student and tutor expectation around feedback
  • using data to evaluate practice

This work will support the 'Evidence for Enhancement: Improving the Student Experience' Theme by reflecting on how we use institutional evidence gathered about the student experience to enhance feedback from assessment processes.

You can find out more information about the project on the Focus On page (opens in new window).
