SHEEC Chair will be joined by QMU Student President to open Conference

Heidi VistisenWe are delighted to announce that Heidi Vistisen, Student President at Queen Margaret University Students’ Union will join the current chair of Scottish Higher Education Enhancement Committee (SHEEC) Professor Peter McGeorge (VP Learning and Teaching, University of Aberdeen) in welcoming delegates to the 3rd International Enhancement Conference on the 6 June.

Heidi is an international student, originally from Denmark, who moved to Scotland in 2012 to study Events Management at Queen Margaret University. Heidi was heavily involved in both academic and social aspects of her experience which led to her election as Student President at Queen Margaret University. Heidi is now nearing the end of her two year tenure as Student President but continues to be involved with NUS Scotland on their executive committee and with the current Enhancement Theme as a student member on SHEEC.

Heidi will be bring a unique perspective to the Conference as both an international student and policy officer, as well as through her extensive work with the Student Transitions Theme.
