Webinar - Supporting your student to complete: some ideas about motivation and how to manage the thesis writing process effectively

For some students, the closing phase of the PhD project, and in particular thesis completion, can be one of the most challenging stages of the project. How you support your student during this process can make a significant impact in terms of both your and the student's experience.

In this short webinar we will introduce some concepts that will help you to:

  • put in building blocks during the PhD process to ensure that this process is as smooth as possible
  • understand how to give effective feedback on submissions to support your student's ability to enhance the quality of their work
  • support the student to be motivated and resilient during the completion process.

The webinar will consist of a 20-minute online presentation followed by an opportunity for discussion and Q&A with the facilitator, an experienced supervisor and the other participants.
